Located bang in the middle of the UK’s motorway network, jumping in the car is the ideal way to get to the NEC. In fact, 75% of the UK can reach us within a three-hour drive. Just pop B40 1NT in your trusty sat nav and you’ll be with us in no time. You’ll find us clearly signposted from all motorways and major routes including the M42, M40 and M6. When you arrive at the NEC don’t follow your satnav anymore, instead follow the signs – look out for 'The Vaper Expo' and you will be directed to the designated car park.
Naturally we’ve made parking a doddle when you arrive, with over 16,500 parking spaces available. The NEC's helpful traffic team will also be on-hand to offer further guidance if you need it. Then simply jump on the free shuttle bus or take a leisurely stroll along the signposted footpaths to halls 17, 18, 19 and 20. (For May) or halls 9, 10, 11 and 12 (For October). Getting to us by train is brilliantly easy as the NEC is located less than a ten-minute walk from Birmingham International Railway Station - you won’t even need to brave the elements. Direct services run all day, however if you’re travelling from further afield you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street, which is less than a 15-minute journey away. Birmingham Airport is right on our doorstep, so it’s hardly surprising we attract thousands of international visitors every year. Simply take the free and fast air-rail link to Birmingham International Railway Station located at the upper level of Terminal 1. The train runs every two minutes and only takes 90 seconds. When you arrive just head straight through to the NEC and make your way over to halls 17, 18, 19 and 20. (For May) or halls 9, 10, 11 and 12 (For October).
Over 120 National Express and Megabus coach services run daily across the UK to Birmingham Airport. From here you can get to the NEC via the free air-rail link, which takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes. Jumping on a bus in Birmingham City Centre? You’ll want the X1 service (every 15 minutes) or the 97A (every 30 minutes). Local services also run from Solihull (966) and Coventry (900).
